National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Alumni

MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the NIRAA is open to all former College rodeo athletes, both former members of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) and those who rodeoed prior to the formation of the NIRA. Spouses and families of former College Rodeo athletes and others interested in preserving the history of College Rodeo are also eligible. The NIRAA has a yearly reunion at the CNFR to meet old and new friends, share pictures, news articles and other items of interest, and to honor past NIRA Champions, and outstanding members.

Yearly dues are $25 for an individual or $40 for an individual and spouse. If a member wishes to receive the NIRA newspaper, The Collegiate Arena, the cost is $15 additional.

A life membership is now available for a one-time payment of $500. This amount covers all future yearly dues plus a subscription to the Collegiate Arena each year. All members receive several newsletters each year and are entitled to attend the Annual Reunion at the CNFR without paying a registration fee.

The tax-exempt status of the NIRA Alumni Inc. means that dues and any contributions to the scholarship fund are tax-deductible if you itemize.
